Welcome to Carolina P.A.W.S. (Pet Adoption & Welfare Society). We are a network of concerned Carolinians devoted to helping abandoned and abused animals find loving homes. Please take a look at our available pets. You might just find the perfect new addition to your family!

If you care about animals but you're not looking to adopt right now, you can still make a difference by fostering a homeless cat or dog, or helping out at community events. Find out how you can help by visiting the above link.

Come see us at the PETSMART in Blakeney every Saturday from 11am-2pm!

Hope-3 534x800

This is Hope, she had a rough start in her first year of life, but you would never know that with her sweet and playful personality. At the end of 2014 Hope was found by a Good Samaritan starving to death on the streets. She was extremely emaciated, skin and bones and her weight was dangerously low. She also had a bad skin infection that needed to be treated. Thanks to the love and care of her foster mom, Hope began her road to recovery. We are happy to report that Hope now weighs close to 50lbs! She is doing amazing in her foster home. Her foster mom says she loves to cuddle and snuggles right up with them at the end of a long day. Hope has new found energy as well and never seems to get tired of running and playing with her foster sibling. Her foster mom says she would make a great running or hiking partner. She is a big mush that just wants to be loved and please her people. Hope is a smart girl and quick learner. She would do well in a structured home that will provide her with proper exercise and continued training. Hope is your all American Bully mix born around January 2013.Hope is up to date on her vacinees and on flea and tick through PetMeds. She is also spayed and microchipped.  If you are interested in giving Hope her forever home, please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Sweet Lindsey used to live behind an auto repair shop and was being fed by a Good Samaritan. It became apparent over time that Lindsey was pregnant. She was rescued just 6 days before she went into labor. She is now in a foster home where she was given lots of food, love, shelter and a safe place to have her kittens. Lindsey was such a loving and patient mom to her kittens. She is a gentle, sweet kitty that loves being petted and being around people. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly and will come up to her foster mom for attention. Lindsey is done with her mommy duties and is ready for adoption. She is approximately 1 year old, litter box trained, and her adoption donation includes her spay and necessary shots. Please consider making Lindsay your feline companion and This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it us today!
